DAYTON, OHIO, January 4, 2010 - Take a minute to think about the organizations you’ve interacted with in the last year. Which ones have knocked your socks off? Which ones have you recommended to your friends and family? Which ones have you tried to model your own business practices after? Which charities do you support time and time again because of the results of their work in our community? Maybe your own organization comes to mind. Take a minute today to nominate these organizations for your Better Business Bureau’s Eclipse Integrity Awards. These awards honor businesses and nonprofits for their management practices, business relationships, promotional efforts and reputation.
The public is invited to nominate organizations by visiting www.bbb.org. Or, call (937) 222-5825 or (800) 776-5301. The deadline to nominate an organization other than your own is February 1. The deadline for self-nominations is March 5. (If you’re self-nominating, review the nominating procedures on your BBB’s Web site, www.bbb.org, or contact your BBB for the complete nomination form.)
Eclipse Integrity Awards will be presented to organizations for demonstrating trust and excellence in the marketplace. The winners will be selected by an independent panel of judges and honored at the Eclipse Integrity Awards dinner on May 11, 2010 at the David H. Ponitz Sinclair Center, 444 W. Third St., Bldg. 12, Dayton.
Your BBB hosts information sessions about completing the nomination process for businesses and nonprofits. The seminar will be held January 12 and February 10 from 7:30 - 9 a.m. at Sinclair Community College. Reservations can be made by calling (937) 222-5825 or (800) 776-5301.
The Eclipse Integrity Awards are sponsored by many local organizations, including The Dayton Power and Light Company; Serco, Inc.; WesBanco Bank, Inc.; WDTN-TV;
Dayton B2B;
and Lite 99.9.
